Science Conference Vegetable Research Institute 2017
On 28th April, 2017, the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute held a scientific conference to evaluate the outstanding research results of the Institute in 2016. Attending the conference were the Institute's leaders, Dept., Dept., Dept., Dept. and all staffs.
At the meeting, the reporters presented 12 reports in the fields of research on vegetables, flowers, fruit trees, preservation processing and market economy. These are the highlights of the units that have been selected through the Departmental Science Conference. After the reporters presented the results, the Science Council conducted the exchange and voted on the evaluation, resulting in 100% of the scientifically-ranked reports.
Speaking at the conference, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung - Director of the Vegetable Research Institute assessed that the scientific reports presented at the conference were seriously prepared by rapporteurs. In addition to the studies on the improvement of cultivation techniques, in 2016, the research on new breeding has gained more results than in previous years. There are several new plant varieties that are well-received and many valuable initial inputs need to be further monitored. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung hopes that in the coming year, all researchers will continue to develop their full potential in scientific research to create higher quality scientific products. contributing significantly to the production, contributing to the development of agriculture in general and the fruit and vegetable sector in particular.
