The Fair of Technology and Equipment 2015 (Techmart 2015) was held from 1/10 to 4/10 in the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Culture Palace, Hanoi. The fair has become a place of exchange, two-way connection between business companies and the research organisations. In the framework of this fair, Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences also organised a conference to commercialise the new varieties. Thereby, FAVRI has succeeded in finding partners to deliver the copyright of some vegetable varieties bred by the Institute. On behalf of the Institute and the authors, Dr. Dang Van Dong, vice general director and TS. Ngo Thi Hanh, head of the division of Vegetables and Spices, signed a contract with Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, the director of Seeds JSC, Bac Ninh, on the transferring the trading copyright of three hybrid varieties including GL1-5 tomato; GL1-9 cucumber; and GL1-10 chili pepper with high yield and good disease resistance. Witnessing the signing ceremony, there were Dr. Trinh Khac Quang, the general director of the Vietnam Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Hung, general director of FAVRI together with the variety authors, guests and reporters from national television agencies.
