Visit of the Mongolian Govermental Delegation (20/03/2013)
On 20 Mar 2013, the Fruit and Vegetable Institute warmly welcomed the delegation of the Mongolian Government to visit the Institute.
Visiting of the delegation aimed at having introduction on varieties of vegetables, fruits and flowers and effective technical methods which are adaptable and applicable to the cultivation conditions in Mongolia.

Dr. Bui Quang Dang – Head of Dept. of Science and International Cooperation had a brief presentation on new varieties and technical advances of the FAVRI in the recent years.

The delegation visited the lab for tissue culture of the Division of Bio-technology and the fruit trees garden of the Division of Fruit Crops. They were interested in fruit crop varieties, such as banana, mango, pummelo. The FAVRI also introduced to the delegation the green-house system and input materials for orchid production at the Center for Flower Research and Development.
