Visit of the Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic
The delegation of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, led by Ms. Pany Yathotou – Member of the Politburo, Chairwoman of the National Assembly of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, visited and worked with the Fruit and Vegetable Reseach Institute on January 7th, 2012.

Dr. Trinh Khac Quang – General Director of FAVRI together with the Institute leadership and Heads of the FAVRI’s departments warmly welcomed the delegation. The Institute introduced to the delegation the oustanding achievements which they have made in the field of fruits, vegeatables and flowers in recent 10 years.
The Fruit and Vegetable Institute has reported and asked permission from the Vietnam Ministry of Agriculture and Rural development for transfering the Institute’s technical advances which the partner is interested in.
