Last month, the working mission of the Fruit and Vegetable Research Institute (FAVRI visited and worked with the Office of Agricultural Research and Development Region 1 and Chiangmai Royal Agricultural Research Center (CRARC). They had a field trip to see the longan and temperate fruit orchards and were impressed by the longan production in Thailand. 

In the framework of its cooperation program with (CRARC), FAVRI warmly invited Mr. Pichit Sripinta, Department of Agriculture, Horticulture Research Institute, CRARC to come to Vietnam to visit areas of late longan production and discuss a cooperative program on fruit research and development between the two institutions. The trip was from September 8-11, 2012.
